Kathy is an independent HR director with specialist interests in organisational development, engagement, well-being and stress. Kathy is also a certified Mental Health First Aid trainer.
Rewiring our stress response
Busting the myths around mindfulness, Kristen discussed the science and impact of mindfulness, mindfulness vs. mindlessness, and shared some informal and formal practices for everyday impact.
Kristen coaches and trains leaders to spark and sustain meaningful change in their organisations. She teaches a mindful leadership cohort course called Momentum and hosts Radiant Leader, a community of practice for transformational leaders.
Working with emotions in times of stress

Music and sound can help us de-stress. During Elizabeth’s session, she talked to us about the impact of sound on our emotions, thoughts, and physiology. We also experienced the power of 432Hz – mother nature’s healing sound frequency.

Anna will talk us through the impact stress can have on gut health and the importance of nutrition to support you. Anna will provide you with tips and tools to reduce the overwhelm when it comes to food choices, alongside helping to manage stress in the moment and long-term strategies too.
Anna is head coach at ETPHD Coaching, which combines nutritional support, person-centred coaching and therapeutic techniques to support those looking to improve their health, relationship with food and body.
The relationship between sleep and stress
Stress is a leading cause of sleepless nights. During his session, Dave discussed the science of sleep and its relationship to stress, providing practical solutions to improve sleep and decrease stress.
Dave’s belief is that a good night’s sleep is the fundamental pillar of physical, mental, and emotional health. Dave is interested in the connection between sleep and stress.
