Seijaku.org.uk is owned entirely by Seijaku Ltd. (“Service Provider”). This policy refers to Seijaku Ltd. A “Visitor” refers to anyone perusing the Website with the intention of becoming a “Service User”

Seijaku Ltd. collects the following data: Personal identification information for Visitors who complete online information forms (Business Name, Number of employees, Your Name, Your Job Title, Your Email Address and Your Telephone Number, Reason for enquiry)

You directly provide Seijaku Ltd. with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Complete one of our information forms on the Website
  • Download any of our materials from the Website
  • Procure any of our Services
  • Voluntarily complete a customer survey before, during or after procuring a Service
  • Speak to us on the phone or via conference video
  • Provide feedback on any of our message boards, social channels, via email or any other closed or open form of communication
  • Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies

Seijaku Ltd. may also receive your data indirectly from the following sources:

  • Recommendations from a mutual, or familiar, contact
  • Networking events, and events where data are shared (with your permission through the organisers)

Seijaku Ltd. collects your data so that we can:

  • Deliver our Service, contact the Visitor
  • Email with confirmation of programmes, bookings and for other business-related issues
  • Contact you with Services which we believe may benefit you or your Company
  • Evaluate and improve our Service and to talk about our Service with other prospective Clients (all data are anonymised)
  • Other uses including to support our network and team acquisition strategy and to help us decide which community causes to support pro bono

Seijaku Ltd. additionally runs a free-to-all campaign called Under the Tree: a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative. The Service Provider will additionally collect data from Visitors via the Website registration form, and on LinkedIn when Visitors specifically engage with this service. The Service Provider may use your data to contact you to discuss new business opportunities and use your anonymised feedback for marketing purposes. If you wish to have your data removed from any aspect of Under the Tree please contact us using the contact details provided at the end of this section.

Seijaku Ltd. may from time-to-time share your data with our select and highly limited Partner Companies. They will never contact you without your prior consent. We can provide a list of our Partner Companies upon request and they are also listed on the Website.

Seijaku Ltd. stores your data using robust security measures. It may temporarily store information on a Static Device, which is security protected for Businesses with Norton Antivirus. More information can be found here.

Seijaku Ltd. uses Microsoft 365 for its professional and email services. More security information can be found here.

Seijaku Ltd. will keep your data on file until you request that it is deleted or at six years of inactive use, whichever comes first. You may request that we delete all data, in which case we will aim to delete your data within 28 days. You must request written confirmation from Seijaku Ltd. if this is required.

Seijaku Ltd. would like to send you information about Services of ours that we think you might like. If you have agreed to receive marketing updates, you may always opt out at a later date. You have the right at any time to stop Seijaku Ltd. from contacting you for marketing purposes.

If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please email info@seijaku.org.uk with your name, email address, company and put “Stop Marketing” in the subject header.

Seijaku Ltd. would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every Visitor is entitled to the following:

  • The right to access – You have the right to request copies of your personal data. We may charge you a fee for this Service.
